Safeguarding is everyones responsibility

We have trained Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) who take the lead on safeguarding and child protection, work with the relevant local authority teams and support our staff with regular safeguarding updates.

Our team are trained to recognise signs and indicators of abuse and understand what action to take if they have a concern. We encourage professional curiosity, meaning we never ignore something simply because we are unsure — we speak to our DSL and follow the correct procedures.

Most importantly, we listen to children, put their wellbeing first and create an environment where children feel safe, respected, confident and able to be themselves. 💛

Safeguarding isn’t just a policy on a shelf — it is part of our everyday practice, our conversations, our observations and the way we care for every child. 🛡️
