Dear Banana Moon Families,

The wait is over. Little Musicians has officially arrived at Banana Moon! Over the past few weeks, we’ve introduced you to Moon, the heart of our curriculum, and his music-loving friend Bongo Bear. Now, Bongo is ready to begin his first musical adventure with children in our Mini Moons and Full Moons rooms as we officially launch our new Little Musicians enrichment programme. Through Little Musicians, our Mini Moons and Full Moons will discover the wonderful world of music through engaging, hands-on experiences designed to make learning fun.

Alongside Bongo Bear, children will have opportunities to recognise different instruments and their sounds, explore rhythms and beats, experiment with movement and discover that music really is all around them. And while they’re having fun, these musical experiences will also provide opportunities to support important areas of children’s learning and development, including listening and communication, confidence, creativity, coordination and self-expression. Most importantly, Little Musicians gives children another exciting way to explore, discover and experience the joy of learning!

While Little Musicians begins with our Mini Moons and Full Moons, we want all of our Banana Moon families to be part of the excitement. For families with younger children, this is a glimpse of what’s ahead. As your child grows and progresses through Banana Moon, they’ll have exciting new learning and enrichment experiences waiting for them along the way. For our participating families, we’ll continue sharing more about what your Little Musician is experiencing and learning throughout the programme. We’re so excited to begin this new adventure and can’t wait to see our children learn, explore and make music alongside Moon and Bongo Bear. Here’s to a new term filled with music, discovery and lots of learning!
